Author, gardener, traveler, and yogini, not necessarily in that order, I believe in the adage that variety is the spice of life. I especially love it when all my varied interests converge in some way, connecting to and enriching each other.
I am the author of When a Grandchild Dies: What to Do, What to Say, How to Cope. I have also edited two books: Joy-Full Holistic Remedies by Georgie Holbrook, and Patchwork and Ornament by Jeanette Feldman. Currently I am working on two different novels for which I am seeking representation. One is women’s fiction, and the other, well, is evolving somewhere between women’s and historical fiction, if one can call 1970 historical.
When not writing, and sometimes even when I am, I maintain a regular yoga practice. I also love to walk, especially in Houston in the springtime. We travel a lot and incorporate hiking and other outdoor activities in our adventures. At home, I keep an ever-growing garden of vegetables, native plants, and herbs.
My husband Henry is my travel companion, and when I married him I also became stepmom to boy-girl twins, now grown and beginning their own life adventures.
